In this video we explore some of the less traveled roads of Utah. In the process we discovered some amazing wild camps where we are alone for a night in nature’s silence. We visit Capitol Reef National Park and camp along the Notom Bullfrog dirt road. We spend a night at the primitive campground. Then we drive the Capitol Valley road to the Temple of the Moon and Temple of the Sun. This road is recommended as high-clearance four-wheel drive. We found our camp on a rocky plateau along the drive back. Next we head toward the town of Moab, a Mecca for extreme adventure. We did get our share by getting stuck after turning around on the Gemini Bridges road. We had to self-recover and that took over an hour. The van was high-centered on a big rock with one of the rear wheel hanging off the ground. We had to move and pile rocks in order to jack the rear wheel up to place rocks under and free the van. There is some underbody damage but it does not affect anything mechanical and the damage is not visible. We did some more exploring around Moab and found beautiful camp spots. We also visited a few dinosaur track sites, very interesting. I hope you will enjoy the video!
