In this video we continue our exploration of the San Rafael Swell region of Utah in our AWD Ford Transit camper van. The San Rafael Swell is an intriguing geological phenomenon that created a large dome shaped area that was pushed up about 60 million years ago. Then erosion and flash floods carved deep canyons, gorges and valleys. The landscapes are breathtaking and many dirt roads and hiking trails offer a way to explore this area. The indigenous people frequented this area long ago and have left many petroglyphs and pictograms for us to find. We drive and camp off the beaten path in order to bring you images of these landscapes. We also hike some of the canyons to find and film the petroglyphs. Enjoy this new episode!
