This video is inspired by my memories of trips to the Andes of South America while living in Argentina. I was thinking again of the colorful landscapes of the high altitude plains of Bolivia, the amazing archeological sites of Peru, and the feeling of an ancient presence I felt down there. This episode is also inspired by a book I purchased from a Canadian author I met in the campground in San Miguel De Allende, during our recent trip to Mexico. “How the Mohawk saved the world” by Christopher Malcolm, brings a revealing light to the history of North America. The background music I chose for the video has a Peruvian flair and I tried to transmit the sort of mystic feeling I felt in South America. That feeling could also be perceived in many places we visit in the American south west throughout our winter van life adventures. This episode was shot partially in southern Arizona and in California. I hope you will enjoy the beautiful landscapes, sunrises and sunsets, and signs ancestors left for us to stop, look, and question. Enjoy “Echoes of The Earth”.
