New Video: Driving Across North America.

Hello friends of Sin Rumbo! I know it’s been a while since I last communicated with you. A lot has happened since then. Where to start? We have had encouraging news about our Ford Transit cargo van order. In July the Ford factory in Kansas locked our order, meaning they have all the parts and accessories as we specified and we could no longer make changes. A good start. In August our dealer advised us that our build is scheduled for the first week of October 2023, with an estimated delivery in Calgary at the end of November or early December. So fingers crossed, we should get our van before the end of the year. It’s been almost a year since we placed the order early October 2022.

Mid August we left Calgary, Alberta, and drove to Ontario through the US. That was a 3500 km (2200 mi.) trip over 5 days. We didn’t really do any visiting along the way, just stopped shortly for breaks, and at night in motels. That’s what the new video is about, at least partly. In the second part I show you around where we are in Ontario, where I like to spend time at the locks on the Trent Severn waterway. And finally and since the blog and Youtube channel are about travels in a vehicle, I take you to the Drive Festival: an exciting car show and track events, with an impressive array of exotic (very exotic) cars. I won’t say more! It’s all in the video.
