Ford Transit DIY Conversion | Heavy-Duty Air Compressor Review

Hello everyone. A while back the “Low Tire Pressure” alarm came on on the dash telling me that the rear passenger tire was too low. Ford advises that the tires on the Transit should be inflated to 57 psi at the front and 75 psi at the rear. My pressure gauge only goes up to 60 psi so I had to buy a new one. I didn’t really need to purchase an air compressor at that time but decided to research and get one anyway. I like to be self-sufficient and will need to carry one later once we start traveling. As soon as you drive on unimproved roads lowering your tire pressure goes a long way in making the ride more comfortable as the cushier tires absorb impacts better. You also get better traction and leave less of a footprint on the trails. The problem is that, once you get back to the pavement, you need to air back up and a gas station might not be near. That is when carrying an air compressor on-board comes in handy. But not all air compressors can pump enough air to a sufficiently high pressure for oversized tires commonly found on 4x4s, trucks or vans. I went with the All Top portable compressor and I review it in this video.
