It was a beautiful day and I decided to take advantage of it to go off-roading to the mountains. I know the Ruta 13 now and feel comfortable doing it alone. From just outside town its more or less 100 km of trail lead to the town of Uspallata. Uspallata is a small town that has the necessary services for travellers, like gas stations, restaurants, supermarket, campground, etc. Ruta 13 goes through some spectacular landscapes and passes at some point at more than 3000 m of elevation. It is not used much and solitude, silence and fresh air are guaranteed. Here are a few photos of my progress along the way.
