Those who have been following me for some time know that I had electrical issues with the truck camper pretty much from day one. I had originally paid someone to run the thick cable from the engine battery to the camper. I did the rest of the electric installation myself. Due to poor connections in the main cable the charging system never really performed the way I expected, and the camper battery suffered from deep discharge and intermittent and incomplete charge. Now that I re-wired the main line with a new cable and proper connections it was time to put a new battery in place. I thought I’d document the process of choosing a camper battery and did a video on the subject.
